Royal Wellington is a private members club and an introduction is required to become a member.

Membership is open and we welcoming new members. To join, your nomination form will be completed by a club member (proposer) who will have at least 5 years standing in the club. A seconder with similar membership tenure is also required. The proposer will forward the completed nomination to the Club for consideration. Further information is available on application to the General Manager.

There is also provision for potential members who have limited tenure in Wellington to apply for honorary membership.
